United Private Hire Drivers (UPHD), the private hire branch of the Independent Workers Union of Great Britain ( IWGB) lead precarious workers demanding justice as they march past the High Court where drivers James Farrar and Yaseen Aslam face Uber at the Court of Appeal. Uber was appealing against a 2016 employment tribunal ruling that they were not self-employed independent contractors but entitled to holiday pay, paid rest breaks and the national minimum wage.
