England, UK. 11.5.2002. Potters Bar . Potters Bar train crash - scene the day after the derailment ( 10.5.2002 ) in which seven people died. The principal cause was points failure and poor maintenance. Railtrack was the private company in charge of infrastructure at the time, and private contractor Jarvis was in charge of track maintenance.
