England, UK. 28.5.2001. Oldham. The Live and Let Live pub on the edge of the Glodwick estate ( asian area ). On Saturday 26th May after a fight between an Asian youth and a white youth a gang of white youths attacked Asian people and properties. Asian gangs responded in kind, firebombing this pub and then fighting with police. The resulting Oldham riots were the worst since the mid 1980’s.
