England, UK. 28.11.1994. Claremont Road, waiting for the bailiffs. Claremont Road was the last stand of anti-motorway protesters blocking the path of the M11 link road, which was about to flatten these houses. The last resident, 92-year old Dolly Watson, who was born in number 32 on Claremont Road and had lived there nearly all her life was defying an order to move.
